WHALE BONE STAGE FOR ‘BALEEN MOONDJAN’ ADELAIDE FESTIVAL 2024

 

Bringing to life Jacob Nash’s vision for the opening of the Adelaide Festival 2024 Baleen Moondjab.

Set amongst the giant whale bones, Baleen Moondjab tells the story of a proud elder, a curious granddaughter and the day a Baleen whale comes to shore. The whale is there to catch the grandmother's spirit and carry it out to sea.

Baleen Moondjab recognises the intertwining relationships between all living creatures and our connection to earth sea and sky . A humbling and beautiful project to be part of.
